Anthropology
"A study that deals with origins, physical and cultural development and social beliefs and customs of humans"
Dear Ms. Margaret Mead,
Let me just start out by saying you are an amazing person who had some incredible journeys as well as multiple amazing opportunities to go to remote places to study people. You have left such a huge impact on anthropology and inspiring people to learn more about other cultures. Also you helped preserve some cultures that would have probably disappeared. It is inspiring to learn about you and learn about your great achievements. Although I will probably not go on amazing journeys like you I wish I can make half the impact you did on the people’s life and cultures. I have a couple of questions that I would love you to answer but if you are too busy I understand. But I am just curious to know if you ever knew you would make such an impact in life? Were you ever terrified when you went to a new distant island to study a new culture? Thank you for taking the time for reading my letter and possibly responding.
Sincerely,
Susan
